Default The most you've paid for a single club?

After seeing a few putters on eBay above the $2k mark....
What's the most you've paid for a single club?

$250 for my M1 3 Wood is about my limit.

Paid well over $600 for my Ping i15 and Callaway Rogue Sub-Zero drivers (a few years apart) with up-market shafts - that is way more than I want to, but I picked them after being fitted.

Funnily enough, they are the two drivers that remained in the bag the longest (Rogue is still there) .... there might be something to this whole fitting thing. Thinking about it, they probably saved me money in the long run.

Whatever I paid for my putter at the Vic Champs auction a few years back, maybe $80? Doubt that I've ever paid three figures for a club though.
Still not playing enough GolfLink | Slightly less terrible stats brought to you by Golfshot - F: 57%, GIR: 23%, UD: 14%, P: 34. Wow, improvement! | Nickent brand ho or tightarse? You be the judge!

Clubs are cheap now compared to the late 90's early 00's.
Bought the following brand new at the time they were released.
    $950 Callaway Hawk Eye Driver
    $950 Titleist 975D Driver
$1120 Callawy ERC II Driver when every where else was selling for $1250

I still have the 975D and ERC II.

Not at the time it wasn’t.
It had been out for a while before the US made it illegal for competition play in the US but was still legal every where else.
Don’t know what year it was made illegal world wide as I’d walked way from the game when that happened.

$568 for a new M5 driver on Saturday. Well probably demoed a bit in the store but otherwise new, not a mark on it.
