Default Leon Day - Sep 4th - City GC

Doing a bit of long range planning, Timah and I are keen to give this a run this year. I assume usual suspects will be keen?

    Highly recommended.

Not because of COVID, but just in general.

Meth and old age should take care of that in the next decade or so.

Ok cool, just needed to know if an express JDM mask order was required.

18 hours from test to results is pretty darn quick.

Good news. Are you back in?

I think so. I feel pretty reasonable today so assuming I feel better again tomorrow, I'll be in.

Happy to stand aside if there is someone who wants to jump in without the risk.

    You should go...

Runny nose and sore throat has started for me tonight, so I'll be off for a test in the morning. Unlikely I'll get a same day response, so I'll have to withdraw.

I'll be bringing a mask in my pocket though. Just in case I get a case of the coughs again, and mostly to make people feel safe even though I know I am COVID-free.

Can't wait to catch up! I only just remembered that I didn't play last year as Rob and I had Tim Minchen in brissie, so I only came down for a while; and got smashed by the worst allergies I've ever experienced and even had to stop for a break while driving home. Doped myself up already, and bringing more with me! First game of golf in 2.5 years........... Bloody hell I have to take up that Gailes membership thing.

Kinda awesome day, to tell the truth. Perfect weather, perfect course, perfect company, and great play saw Andy, Pete, Shaz and I win! So over the moon still. Tess, Peteyd and henno came 5th. Between that and the raffles, two tables full of prizes.

Beautiful weather for a very important day!

Very pleased to be the winners of the day with Goughy, AndyP and Peter_rs. I’ll let goughy give you his personal highlight reel! Can honestly say that was the best round a group I’ve been in had managed to put together. Two eagles and a stack of birdies and most importantly no soft bogies.

Congrats to the other Ozgolfers for a very credible 5th place in a group of 3! (Well 2.5 really : )

I can only assume you're referring to my 3 attempts at 3 wood and one with 1i that all rolled along the ground?

Friday was the most enjoyable day on the course that I've had for ages. Great team to play with, and the win was the icing on the cake. I'm looking forward to seeing our names on the shield next year, and try to defend our title.
