Well, without any further ado, it gives me much pleasure to announce the 2020 Uncivil War captains, Chappy1970 for the Confederates, and Dotty for the Union!!!!

Congratulations in joining much esteemed company gents, this is the highest honour you can have in the OZgolf world!

What you'll need to do for me is this:
    * Pick an official team uniform, ie. Shirt and pants / shorts colours
    * Think about possible matchups and teammates. I'll get in contact with you both and let you know the grudge matches that have been pre-planned, and who is on which side so far...
    * Get ready for the fight of your lives

We can spare a peg or two and still win handsomely.
Cinderella story, out of nowhere, former greenskeeper, now about to become a Masters champion..... It looks like a mirac.. It's in the hole! It's in the hole!

To keep it simple - just a thought...

What you'll need to do for me is this:
    * Pick an official team uniform, ie. Shirt and pants / shorts colours

UCW 1 and 2 was red shirts and black shorts for the South, Navy Blue and grey shorts or similar for the north.

Just throwing it out there, knowing a few of our players will be hitting the road in a couple of days!

    Sounds good.

Champagne matches nicely with navy and grey.

Alright, the battle lines have officially been drawn!!! Special thanks to AndyP for recognising his Confederate heritage, without him this match wouldn't have evened out, so as negotiated in his terms, please no turncoat talk for him.

Kitting up for the Confederates is:
    Chappy1970
    LeftyHoges
    wbennett
    3PuttPete
    Joes
    AndyP
    Slug
    Pickles
    RightyHoges, &
    Smithy

And for the defending champions the Union:
    Dotty (C)
    Courty
    Bushy
    SundayHack
    Johnno
    Peppas
    Peter_rs
    Shazza_rs
    Benno_r, &
    Ron Burgundy

As always, the Captains MUST play each other in the last group out, and a handful of grudge matches have been requested this year, being:
    SundayHack v 3PuttPete
    wbennett v benno_r
    Ron Burgundy v LeftyHoges

Please try your best to accommodate these, but if they don't happen they'll just have to take place next year...

Per the usual format, the Captains will alternate nominating their pairings: For example:

Chappy picks first and nominates the pair of 3PuttPete and wbennett.

Dotty will then respond with his pairing of SundayHack and benno_r to take on the previous two. He'll then nominate his next pairing, peter_rs and shaz_rs

Chappy then nominates his pair to take them on, say RightyHoges and Slug. He'll then nominate his next pairing, to which Dotty will nominate their opponents and so forth. Catch my drift?

Captains, please formulate your pairings from the lists above, and we'll try to find a time that suits you both to do the announcement of matches, it usually takes around 30-45 minutes with 5 groups.

    Love, Lefty

Will benno_r have to give wbennett shots this time? At Victoria golf club, pretty sure benno_r got a few shots.

Feelzy probably pulled out because even he can sense a whitewash coming up and didn't want any part of it.
It's not a question of the Union winning it's more about how many they will win by.
Hey, let's pop some Viagras and issue tickets with raging, mega-huge boners.

I may have to give him one - I am 7.6, he is 8.1

At Victoria it was about 6-ish.
