    Default February Round

Fellow South Strayans,I'm keen to lock in a February Round. Are there any dates which do/don't suit people? I was thinking the weekend of the 8th/9th as a starting date. Was originally thinking Blackwood as it appears in decent condition ATM but happy for alternate suggestions.. Blackwood is $50 for Sunday green fees.

Update: Sunday the 9th not available due to a function at the course. No social groups allowed on the course on Sundays before 11am.

    Proposed Date and Time:
Sunday the 23rd of February at 11am off the 10th hole

This is getting hilarious. I was aplogising for presuming that marcel had suddenly pulled out when he'd posted on Jan 13 that he wouldn't be avail after Jan 19... I'm still a light pencil..

Put me in pencil now Flavzz, pending recovery from a kitchen incident involving the top layer of the skin on my right thumb and my new mandolin

they supply a guard for a reason....

Mandolins should be outlawed. My missus cut herself badly once and I threw the thing in the bin immediately. Never again..

Hope it's not too bad mate..

Didn’t use the guard as it had a terrible grip on it, got cocky and went too fast. Lesson learned. Thumb bled for 4 hours, looks ok now, had it smothered in Savlon and Vaseline

Tried a practice putt and chip in the yard. No chance for at least a couple of weeks

I'm out for this unfortunately. I will continue to provide the organisation (not that there's anything else to do). 2 groups are currently locked in for 11am.

Thumb is healing pretty well, far out it was deep though, can feel my bone grating on the scab.

Should be good for next Sunday, will be my first game out in about 6 weeks
