So has everyone finally gotten off the Spieth train? A new year, the same weekend capitulation. Also no longer in the top 50 in the world.

"....But he has had just one top-5 finish since the 2018 Masters...."
Meanwhile...
"...Marc Leishman moved up eight spots to No. 20 in the world following his win in San Diego, while Lucas Herbert went from No. 223 to No. 79 withhis victory in Dubai..."

Awesome stuff. He's been changing his release pattern the last couple of years. He's spent his whole career relying on his talent and now he finally has a technique to match it. This is not an older player finding one last breath. I'm expecting a lot more wins over the next 5 years from Adam.
He's folding his arms through the ball and on the follow through rather than keeping them straight, and trying to stay over the ball a bit more. Extension was thought of as a good thing for many years and Adam Scott's swing was used a role model but having less clubface rotation is now understood to be better. Snead, Nicklaus and Koepka fold their left elbow quickly after impact which stops the hook. He spent a bit of time with George Gankas who in the past has mentioned that he hates Adam Scott's posture. I don't think he has kept working with him and I'm not a fan of how Gankas tries to get his players to squat but I agree with the fold release. It helps maintain the loft and bounce of the club and makes it easier to keep the ball in play.
Check out this video and look at the lead arm after impact. Blixt is holding while Snead is releasing. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ln-3D-NxH0E
Never hear anyone, local or international, say a bad word about Adam Scott.
Doesn't crave the limelight, or do annoying commercials, or suck up to Tiger Woods.
Comfortable in his own skin. Good on him, a role model others could learn from.
Who is caddying for him?
You must've forgotten about the anchoring debate, and those who still hate the long putter as a matter of principle. I haven't done an internet search, but I'll bet there are people who think Scott is either anchoring, and therefore cheating, or just cheating anyway.
And he broke up with that gorgeous tennis player in order to go back to his old flame (which seems to have been a very good decision).

If the Premier Golf League (or whatever it is called this week) had any chance of getting off the ground, Rory just killed it. Not just because what he says makes a lot of sense, but because it is him. Without Rory and Tiger it was never a starter. The golfing world simply doesn't want to see the Kevins Na and Kisner (or even Chappell), it was only ever Tiger and Rory and maybe Justin Thomas and DJ. Even Brooks isn't really a big enough star to carry a rebel organisation, and he's not even playing this week, so there probably wasn't much chance of him toeing the line.
On that subject, I can't see the WGC on my program guide. Does this mean we have another year of no WGC's on our TV's?

Ah Fatrick Reed the cheater, I'll just leave this here.

Golf.tv has the WGC events, as well as all the rest. Better value than kayo if all you watch is the golf.
Yay Fatrick!
He is my hero!
I don't think so. They have a page for it (https://www.golf.tv/en/tour/tr-european-tour), but I can't see any content.
