Epic finish !
Unbelievable. Just wow.
Two crazy putts to close out, 66 feet, just wow
That was a very entertaining patch of golf. I certainly enjoyed watching the tougher conditions this week more than all the low scores last week.
The tough conditions were OK for a bit of variation, but I wouldn't want that style of golf on my tv every week.
A good comparison is to 20/20 cricket. A spicy pitch and a 120 winning score is Ok now and again, but the average punter turns off if it happens often. On the other end of the scale, both sides getting 230 is entertaining the first time, but not after that.
I'm not too sure how it happened, but to some degree they got the balance right for the last round. Obviously Rahm was the best with 64, but there were quite a few rounds under par, which was better viewing than iron to 40 feet, then a 3 putt bogey, which was what we got in the first two rounds.

I enjoying reading the WITB threads from time to time for the little nuggets, like Scheffler's 3 Wood;

Top 30 finals not on Foxtel??
Cheers enablers.
Check out the rack on lady DJ!
Well done Stewy, 11 years!
Percy must be disappointed to shoot +2 in the final round whilst almost the entire field was going well below par.
