    Default 2019-2020 Australian Tour

Surprised to not see a thread for all the Tour events coming up in Australia this summer 2019-2020

Watched a bit today on free to air before going to work. Adam Scott was spudding it up big time.

I'll admit I find it a bit difficult, in these days of wall to wall golf coverage on Foxtel, to get interested in two events in December and two events in February. Usually the Oz Open is the only one with a decent field. It doesn't help that the courses are a bit blah unless they play a sand belt, and the event in the west has a strange format.

I'll still be watching though, and cheering for Louis O just so I can admire his swing again.

Was that’s Jones wife/girlfriend or daughter dressed classy at the end of the round yesterday?

I didn’t see it yesterday but if she looked anything like this, then yeah it’s his wife. If that’s not worth a polite golf clap, nothing is.

Cinderella story, out of nowhere, former greenskeeper, now about to become a Masters champion..... It looks like a mirac.. It's in the hole! It's in the hole!

Bit less boring today, hate the bunkers though, bland fluffy sand, predictable, boring and easy to get out of. Perfect for an 18 capper

Wikipedia says she was a Miss USA contestant in 2009.

Good win by Matt but he said after the final hole that he was told that Louis had only parred 18 so didn’t go for the green with his 3rd shot believing 6 would be enough.

He didn’t see the real situation until he saw a leaderboard up near the green.

Yeah. He showed a bit of guts there, would have been a bit deflating. Shame they didnt show the presentation and his speech, i would have liked to hear more of what he had to say.

Great to see Matt Jones win again.

While it's good to have FTA coverage there's plenty of room for improvement.

Respect Andrew Daddo is a golf nut but as post round interviewer he looked lost about what to ask the players and there were some uncomfortable interactions to say the least. This becomes easier once he's developed a relationship with the players but that takes time (often years)

The on course work improved over the event but wasn't hugely insightful sorry Mark.

Applaud Channel 7 for taking it on and injecting new talent and ideas - let's hope they stick with it and continues to improve

It didn't show up on tv but maybe someone who was on course can clarify.
Did Leishman call 'fore' prior to the kid getting hit by the ball on 16?

Daddo is goose, I’m surprised he didn’t ask Scotty what he was going to do if he missed the cut.

What I saw greet him on 18 leading to my question didn’t look anything a good at that pic.
My first thoughts were he’d picked something up from The Cross and said can you pretend to be my family for a few days

Not enough shots being played shown and too much dead time watching players read putts.
I want to watch shots not green reading Book Club.
And Dodo is cringe worthy as a interviewer.

I have watched this footage a few times and still can't find a point where Leishman calls out any warning, or even looks like he is going to.
If that is indeed the way it transpired then Leishman is a tool, and his little exercise of the glove signing and small talk becomes a pathetic PR stunt.

Never really a good idea to bag someone elses wife. Unless of course someone has Miss USA 2019 then I guess go for it.

I'm caddying at Royal Pines tomorrow. Is anyone going down for the PGA?

Alexander Holden in the Junior Kirkwood Cup two person Ambrose on the blue nine. He isn't showing much potential yet, but I'd just be happy if he became a future four ball partner.

We get tickets to the event too, but as late as Monday I could not find a player list to have a plan on who to watch. Alex plays in the afternoon, so I'll have a look at the tee times soon.

We just watched Tighe hit a drop kick iron off the tee on the par 9 fifth. That's what you come to see.
