    Default WDYSTM - December 2019

    Stableford at the Mary today.

Played pretty good for 14 holes for 32points. Shame the 4 wipes ruined a decent round.

2 putt birdy on 5, and curling 15ft birdy on 7 were highlights. Hooking 2 OB on 6, and hooking one in the piss on 17 were lowlights.

    17/15 32
    2 birds
    6 pars
    6 gir
    32 putts
    1 3jig

Played Kooringal yesterday in absolutely howling wind and shot an 83 which turned out to be quite respectable. Out in 44 and home in 39. Really impressed with the course too, lovely condition and plenty of different challenges.

A fairly respectable 33 points for me today on recently cored and sanded greens. Realistically, the greens probably cost me 2 shots, which isn't really anything to whinge about.

I did get another flag-in rejection of a putt, but it was about a 40 footer and going fairly quick, so it may not have gone in anyway.

Tuesday bit of wind around , 23 pts , seem to loose the plot every time the wind gets up .
Thursday 32 pts , windy but not as bad as Tuesday, 20 pts front nine with a wipe and one pointer , missed a 6 footer on the sixth for 3 birds in a row then 3 putted 7 for a wipe . Back nine I think I might have got on the tractor subconsciously, lots of one pointers and a wipe ( a daily cap of 8 is nice at Warragul) . 42 pts won both grades

Had 32 points. Drove the ball pretty well, and actually hit some decent irons but didn't convert. A big thing I noticed today was I was mis-clubbing a bit. Like hit the shot well, but ended up short a few times and long a couple. So that put me off the green trying to get up and down and I just wasn't doing it. Frustrating day.

New worst round for the year only exactly 1 week after what was worst round for the year.
Good thing I drove it good and putting wasn’t as bad as it was a week ago or it would have been real ugly.
Next 4 rounds are flags with with a large differential between the replacement rounds.

35 points for first comp in 2 months.

19/16 with no wipes. Only downer was misplacing my lob wedge somewhere between the 10th and 11th and having to use my 54 for the rest of the holes. Thankfully I got it back after the round.

Yeap ..... another crappy weekend... 94/80 for monthly stroke on saturday while 4 down on par comp on Sunday.

Chippings were mostly ok but my putting was off on saturday while iron play is off on sunday.

Cant get it together again :P

36 points at Mirage Country Club having a hit with my brother before Christmas. Played well in patches but two wipes undid the good play. Still it's my best round in a while so I won't complain.

28 points for me today. 38 putts and my first drive OOB for at least 3 years. I'm blaming the yellow ball I used (until I hit it OOB).
