Luke Elvy cheerleading on Twitter for JD against a wall of indifference and cynicism

Dang, in Jason Day W/D Bingo my square was The Flu Contracted By His Kids. Congrats to the lucky winner who chose Nebulous Back Injury. Your prize is the round trip ticket on Qantas he’ll never use

Cinderella story, out of nowhere, former greenskeeper, now about to become a Masters champion..... It looks like a mirac.. It's in the hole! It's in the hole!

I like the post about he finally managed to get some weekend passes for Disneyworld that week!

Wonder what Golf Australia think about the money and support they poured into him in his developing years!

Not his problem Pete, long time "bitch" of mine, you want to go to the AIS/be a GA player, you sell me some of your equity, don't want to do it, that's OK, we wish you the best.

This applies to golfers, swimmers, rhythmic gymnasts.........as soon as you earn more than $1m, you start paying back, more than $5m, you start paying back harder and when you are JDay and AScott, you pay more..........and you fund the gymnasts.

Golf Australia does this now. From memory it’s a % of income for 5 years. Or something like that.

Day’s record at the Presidents Cup is 4-8-3 which isn’t great so hopefully Ben An will step up.

The GA ROI policy is voluntary; I highly doubt that Jason has opted to participate.

Didn't his mum foot the bill for his golf education anyway?

His local golf club in QLD footed a large percentage of his bills

It wasn’t in place when Day turned pro.

I’ll be there. Thinking of taking a giant stopwatch to time Bryson and continually reminding Reed of the 83 he shot at the last Ryder Cup.

Does the AIS compensate those they ruined?

I'll be cheering on any player that does not have an association or a history of photos with the dipshit organisation - the Fanatics.

Good onya. I knew Karl (and his dad) when he was 10, saw in him that he had that *extra*. Plus the sound when he hit the ball was off the charts for most golfers let alone a kid

Really looking forward to getting out there next weekend.

I'm making the trip down from Sydney and hoping the atmosphere is great. Also hoping that it's not too friendly for the Yanks, the Int's need all the help they can get.

Nothing stupid of course...but they need to know it's not a home game.

How are you ranking it damoocow in terms of allocating your lack of cheering/rooting. Association with the fanatics first or taking the filthy lucre in Saudi Arabia?

It wouldn't surprise me if the Saudis and the European Tour actually owned and ran the Fanatics. All horrible organisations.

I feel embarrassed every time I see the fanatics.
