It could also be the club(s) lie angle and or his stance. Club Face too upright, toe digs in and ball goes right. Gripping down (which should flatten the effective lie) might answer the question on that.

If anything, it looks the opposite to me. I'll look out for that next time though. Thanks.

After 3 weeks away I had the best Day out with 21 points playing a half set of Macgregors and persimmons. Hit the pin and lipped out on the last to miss out on 22 points.

    SO much #Love

Turned with 22pts and then murdered that with 7 doubles. 🤡

    19/09/2019, Royal Queensland GC, Stableford.

Things feel like they are starting to come together my game, after having my best ball striking round in my return. The score doesn't really reflect it, although it is my fifth consecutive 30+ stab point round, because conditions were a little tricky with the wind and it was a tough course. I'm not convinced that the driver is going that well, but the openness of the course let me get away with the inaccuracy. The irons were the main improvers, and it was nice to see some putts roll in, although I wouldn't have minded a few less.

One of the things I targeted was par 5 scoring. Gamegolf was telling me that I had scored double bogey or worse 50% of the time on a par 5 in my last 10 rounds. There was nothing worse than bogey yesterday, so that was a win.

    Stats: 36% fairways, 33% greens, 34 putts, 25% scrambling.
Score(Back 9 first): BPPBBPBBP BXXBPPBPB - Gross 41-44-85 (+13); Stab 17-14-31; Par 36-36-72. One hole wiped, so I marked it as a double.

Next round: I'm eyeing off an early Tuesday morning round next week while it is school holidays.

Had some horrid weather today for a par event, pissed down rain and made a few greens look like pools, and then the sun came out,and the strong winds. All that wasn't needed for a par event today.
Having said that, finally had a front 9 par round,35 off the stick with 3 birdies,+1
Second 9 and struggled in the swirling winds with a -2,but had a few positives to come out of it.
Finished at -1 for 35 points.Went into a countback but I had to go.

78 this morning around Coomealla (Mildura region)
    Off the very back markers.
    Ripping track, fast greens.
    Highly recommend

24/09/2019, Victoria Park Golf Complex, Solo.

I shot my lowest score since getting back into it today. Not that it was my best round, because the course was quite short, and I think there was plenty wrong with my game. I'm missing too many fairways, and not hitting enough greens from inside 100m.

The highlight was back to back birdies (after leaving one short in the heart). The first one was due to a long putt through the dew, and the second was driving through the green from the tee on a par 4, then getting up and down.

    Stats: 20% fairways, 44% greens, 30 putts, 10% scrambling.
    Score: PBBXPbbXB BBPPPBPBP - Gross 39-35-74 (+9); Par 34-31-65.

Next round: A vacation round is on the cards for next week, although I'm sure the hire clubs will be crap.

Shot 73 around Portarlington yesterday, was pleasantly surprised with the course. Great track and cheap as well for a good round of golf. Shot a front 9 +4 (40) but managed to find my groove just before the turn and came home with a bogey free -3 (33).

35 pts this morning, no birdies, a ntp , no doubles , missed 4 short / shortish putts in first 5 holes , instead of being 1 under after 5 I was 3 over , missed ntp putt on 13 , needless to say I am not overly impressed with my putting. One positive tho is I now have 30 consecutive rounds in golflink with no 20’s or and no 40 + cap is now 6.7

Multible 36 rounds and cannot get below 7. 3 consecutive rounds without a wipe but still just making some poor shot selections and putter letting me down.

Net 78 in the Merewether Cup yesterday. Generally poor ballstriking most of the way around. Apart from a few shockers, I was happy with my chipping and putting.
