Casts came off my arms today. In thermoplastics for the next 6-8 weeks, but at least I can scratch and move my hands!

    Comp.

First game in about a month. 13th at Cabra. Hit a high draw off the tee and then a low fade 3i from about 195m to about 15feet and the putt never looked like missing. Best eagle I've ever made!!

Cheers! Against doctors recommendations, I’m spending as much time as I can regaining movement in my wrists. Actually looking forward to being able to drive again, then I’ll head out and spend hours working on my putting, moving onto short game stuff when I’m allowed to take some impact. I might come out of this with a short game, so the idea of that makes me happy!

I feel like the band has fallen victim over the years from too many fanatical fan bois. Between 2006-16 IMO the band got complacent and potentially a little bit of Hubris kicked in.

Maynard was the glue that stuck this band together, as soon as he left town to Arizona and started making wine and other music the band fell to pieces. Adam strikes me as a artie like person, who needs a clip around the ear hole to get his sh*t together. Without Maynard in his ear he lost it a bit. There are rumors of some rifts going on between members. I take my hat off to Maynard who I reckon pulled this all together. With the recent Joe Rogan podcast Maynard hints at the frustration of being the cat herder.

    Just my opinion

Yeah, Justin admitted at the time it was a concern but they got over it once he returned. It was such a good time for music back then, Mer de Noms was a brilliant album and 10,000 days (that followed) was quality as well.

Pity the new APC album was rubbish; I was dreading the same might happen with the new Tool record but No it's a pretty solid recording

Getting a nail in a 3 month old tyre, and being told the sidewall is too damaged to plug the tyre.

Then being told that model of Falken tyres has a 12 month warranty = a new tyre for just the labour charge.

Must be the same type of nail as I have had on previous occasions. Each time the sidewall was too damaged. 🤔

I am pretty sure they are not allowed to plug sidewalls. Plugs only work on the centre tread, because the belts/cords hold them in. Sidewalls don't have the same structure and the risk of a blowout is higher.

Understood. I just thought it was a bit coincidental that every single time I picked up a screw or nail over the years (and it has been a few) that the sidewall was damaged.
