Nairne is $10.00 no matter how many holes you play; i.e. per day and yes, honesty box.

    Re: lunch

Both courses look pretty short so we should be able to fly through each one in 1hr 30-45 without scoring. Only a 10 minute drive between each one as well

I will make the booking for 12:30

I've just learned Nairne play their comps on Sundays.

Edit: I've contacted them and they've happy to have us play whenever as their numbers are small. They're also welcoming those that want to play in the comp. If that is the case, comp tee off is at 10:30am and registration is at 10:00am.

Maybe we should play Nairne first if we don't want to bump into this?

Probably makes sense to get this one out the way first. This will also reduce the chance of running into frost at Oakbank

Interesting they have changed the comp days from what the sign out the front says....

OK, Barker is confirmed, 6 ppl for 12:30-1PM (if anybody else pulls out no drama, we will manage it)

So start is now 8AM @ Nairne

    Followed by Oakbank around 10-10:30ish

OP has been updated for the change of order in the courses.

Naine is now 1st starting at 8am.

Oakbank is second and hoping for no later than 10:30am starting there.

    Lunch after in Mt Barker.

My plan is a three layered solution, involving compression, long sleeve and a down vest.

Just read Hatchy's Oakbank review on EYE S GEE, im speechless!

Good to see you're giving it a second chance after all these years

This does have the potential to be the most underwhelming round/s of the year. We can just go straight to the pub..

As bad as Highergoat? That bar is set pretty low.

From a golf course perspective; if the 12 hour beef cheeks are cooked to perfection then all my troubles will seem so far away.

PS: if Hatchy leaves a putt on the lip at Oakbank try and distract his attention away from the cup so I can kick it back down the slope
