They will drop a 45" or smaller into them if you choose. Just add 2 grams into the rear weight if you reduce the half inch.

I have a 917D2 9.5 with a regular shaft (diamana 50) - has been a good driver but the TS2 is calling...... I tried it with a 45" shaft - much betterer than a 45.5" to me.

Sounds like I need to test the ts3. Might take my 910d3 and do a comparison.
