For everyone that hasn't Played Mt Compass before make sure you have a few spare balls as there are plenty of Yum Yums that eat golf balls not to far wide of the 2nd cut on some holes.
It's not uncommon to look for 1 and come out with 4-5 others but not find your own.

    Hatchman

I finished with my starting ball last time - the rough has been cut a lot wider.
The lake on #6 is still there though.....

Even #10 has had some scrub removal on the left! (I said 'some', not a wholesale clearance).

What's the rough at Royal Adelaide like at te moment? I've heard that's a good place to lose balls too.

    It plays better now.

Also Love the tree removal on #17 past the lhs bunkers. IMO one of the most underrated courses in the country

    Uncle Bob

the rough is getting less severe at RAGC. However, there are parts which are just as thick - typically where irrigation spray is getting to the rough.
Left of 5 green is perhaps the worst, whereas dry areas the rough is laying down now.

Large pines on the left of 4 have just been removed - the view of 7green from 2 green (and 2 green from 7 green) is very good. Plusless ball looking on the 4th tee shot than there was. Still having the final tidy up there.

Can I (pretty please with sugar on top) drop the jacket off to somebody South on Friday? Don't really want to lug it all the way to Victor and back with 4 ppl in the car + luggage etc.

Edit: West is also an alternative as I have to go to Grange GC on Friday
