    Default Trigger finger

    https://golf-info-guide.com/golf-tips/setting-up-your-shot/golf-grip-what-is-the-trigger-finger/

Ol mate Nifty from Nudgee and Charlie Earp have harped on it to me in the past. Trying very hard to work on it as I am feeling looseness in my grip at the top of my backswing and a subsequent lose of contol atcontact. Anyone got any thoughts on this grip.

If your loosing the grip at the top start looking at the top hand Palm position on the Grip.
If your like many and Grip all the way to the end of the Grip Butt your loosing control there.
There should be be at least 1/2 and inch of Grip still after the last position that top hand palm is in contact with the grip.
The hands should be slid down 1/4-1/2 inch in that illustration above.

    Got one last night.
Pretty bummed it didn’t get one from you at Barny, but the two courses certainly reamed me.

    You need some different grips.

You forgot the OzGolf motto - New equipment first, then think about lessons.
