Default Short par 3 with teeth that took you out of contention.

The 17th at RQ, 11th at Tasmania GC & 14th at Nudgee are short holes that have got me. Do you have an anecdote telling the dimise of a stella round?

Only short ones. All Par 3's are evil.

The 9th at Wolston Park killed a good round for me a couple of times, as I sometimes played it as the last. It is 270m downhill, with OOB off the back of the green. There was a stage where I was playing it conservatively to leave myself a full wedge in, but this didn't save me from the overly strong shot or the knifed wedge through the back that would add two shots to my scorecard. I didn't continue with the conservative strategy.

#16 @ RA, an absolute monster for me

#16 @ Tanunda Pines, the best hole on the course, index 18 but can be a very tricky up and down in the wind

My Dad and I had a 12 on 16th (I think) at Wollongong in father / son foursomes about 25 years ago. It's only about 120m from memory..

4 putted this 90m par3 from a couple metres over the back and cost me $1000. The birdie putt would have been about 8 metres, the par putt from well over 20

Whilst we didnt play on a Friday when Bob Parsons awards $1000 for a par round, the member that hosted us told me he would personally pay the $1000 if I could shoot par. But this double bogey on the 6th (our 8th hole) meant I missed my $1000 by just one lousy shot.
