    Default Umbrella recommendations

Hi all, chasing after a decent umbrella to mostly block the sun out. It'll sit on a Caddytek.
    Any recommendations?

    Bunnings or Aldi
No need to pay the premium price tags unless you play in high wind conditions.

I have two bunnings umbrellas permanently in the car (one each for Mrs Henno and I) and my 'golf' umbrella is some chinese thing I was given from an old aluminium supplier back in 2006, which is still going strong. On the occasions where I have forgotten the 'golf' umbrella, the Bunnings umbrellas have stepped in and kept the water off just the same as the $200 umbrellas of my playing partners.

tl;dr spend money on beer, not umbrellas.

Do the Bunnings umbrellas stop the UV rays though? I used an umbrella at the footy a month or so ago, and got some lovely burns, although it may have been more due to reflection.

They are silver coated on the underside, but I am not sure if that counts for anything or just made to appear like they have UV protection.

Any Gustbuster. Some just relabel with their logos. Callaway for example. Plus has a screw out stake at bottom of handle.

The Silver "Clicgear" umbrella's are a solid option for sun protection.

www.bluntumbrellas.com.au do a really good quality umbrella, but you'd pay for it too. I got my mum one as she plays in a fair bot of wind at her course and the rain gets quite heavy at times.

Yep, unbelievably good umbrellas. Especially in the wind. There's actually a good video on YouTube that shoes how much wind they can handle.

Costco member? My Costco sells a 2-pack of Adidas umbrellas (one full size, one somewhere between a full size and a typical compact) for about $35. I'm very happy with it (and use the smaller one for work/etc.)

The full size one is 2-piece/vented, the smaller one is single.
