Scoring irons
Been working on my swing for awhile now, and have to admit it seems to have improved on the striking; particularly with the shorter irons;
However, I have been struggling with the green attacking shots..... with the 100, 75 and 60m shots, I think I have been pretty good with my 50,56 and 60 wedges. During practice range sessions, I can comfortably hit around a flag within 2-3m to 75m using range balls. The wedges are the old Mizuno MX wedges
Now, when I'm using my "fitted" irons, I struggle to get to the same alignment consistency with most shots seems to go straight left; So I would miss my target up to 5-10m left with my 8,9 and PW
Would this be a case of checking the fitting of the irons to check if the lie of it is correct? or can they change over a period of time and need re-tweeking again? 7i and above seems to be ok, or the alignment of it is within the acceptable range.

Maybe it’s you, not the irons

When I was missing my scoring irons left, I wasn't getting my body through the ball. I was getting very "armsy" and not finishing my swings with a full rotation.
