It’s blowing 40kmh south Easter’s in Mackay this weekend, so no fishing for us here. I can only imagine it’s blowing way more at Hamo.

    Unfortunately not this trip.

Golf is, in part, a game; but only in part. It is also in part a religion, a fever, a vice, a mirage, a frenzy, a fear, an abscess, a joy, a thrill, a pest, a disease, an uplift, a brooding, a melancholy, a dream of yesterday and a hope for tomorrow. - New York Tribune, 1916.

Twelve pars or better every single time, Bushy. That's consistent.

Yeah. Limit the doubles and make one or two more birdies it could've been anything this weekend.

    Easter golf!

    Saturday - 31 pts. Meh.
Sunday - 33pts. Great ball-striking day, but score doesn't reflect.
Today - 37pts. Lots of fairways & greens.

    Easter golf

Middle ridge open 36 hole stroke.

Played in the arvo this year, to have Sunday morning with the girls.

    Day one was 48/40..88 70
    1xBirdie
    9xpars
    8xothers

    Played in rain,wind and fog.

    Day two was 44/45... 89 71
    10xpars
    8xothers

It was more wind but no rain.

I like the changes they have done on the course in the last year.

Finish 5th div 2 net to the winner on 140.

Pared 4 of the last 5 with a triple on 16 from the fairway.

Surprisingly I didn’t get a chop to the hcp on sat but did on Sunday. Only 0.4 but a start.

Played city on Friday as a warm up

27 points on Good Friday at Leeton, then 35 on Saturday at the same track.

Have now blown out from 5.9 to 8.0 and have not broken my handicap this year.

Three flags in next 4 coming too. I could have a daily of 12 by the end of May

No point getting upset. I dont have time to practice and every round seems a rush to get to. I am getting good at coming home with 18 to 20 points after an appalling front 9.Kids sport over the next two months will see me struggle to get out for 3 or 4 weeks in a row

Teed it up with the Beaconhills mob today. They were kind enough to send me out with 11 shots.Played some of my best golf in comp on the front nine going around with 21 points.I very rarely play the back 9,last time was September.Struggled a bit with a few shots and greens but still carded 17 points.Went back to the pro shop and got the GA sorted.Finished with 21/13 for 34 points.Birdie on 14

Snuck over to Port Fairy for a hit yesterday with Webster. Struck it alright, could've been better, could've been worse. Wind got up a little to make conditions tough, but still playable.

Some weak bogies through the first 7 to be 3 over, and dumped one in a tough greenside pot on 8, round was starting to slip away.

Made the tough up and down, birdied the next and the 12th. Scramble par on 14, birdied 16 to get back to square. Weak bogey on 17, massive scramble par on 18 for 37 points.

Cocked up my Nedding, dropping 0.3 to 1.8.

    Vital stats:
    8 / 14 fairways (0/4 from the last 4)
    10 / 18 GIR
    28 putts (2 reluctant lesbians, 0 yips)
    6 / 11 up n downs
    3 birdies
    11 pars
    4 bogies
