    Congratulations Joe! Well done bloke.

Golf is, in part, a game; but only in part. It is also in part a religion, a fever, a vice, a mirage, a frenzy, a fear, an abscess, a joy, a thrill, a pest, a disease, an uplift, a brooding, a melancholy, a dream of yesterday and a hope for tomorrow. - New York Tribune, 1916.

    Joe played unbelievably well today.
Missed his first fairway on 18.

Holed bombs from everywhere around the back. It was a pleasure to watch

Thanks everyone for another sensational champs. Congrats JoeS. A very deserving winner. And Pickles you’re in illustrious company so make sure you come back next year to hand that gnome over to someone else.

Thanks Lefty especially. Not just for putting on another great event, but even more so for allowing us to spend time in the company of the Prince of Portland in his home town.

Thanks also to all the usual suspects who make this the best week of the year, on (and more importantly off) the course.

    Except 3PP. He can EAD.

It was an absolute pleasure to hack it around with you guys for four days.

Thanks lefty for putting it all together, a huge task and it's very much appreciated by myself and everyone else i'm sure.

Although I'd met a bunch of you at the bellarine champs for the short period I was there, it was great to belly flop into my first full weekend and get to know everyone a little more.

While it was rough for me out on the course I thoroughly enjoyed the company of everyone I played with.

Looking forward to redeeming myself at 2021 vic champs.

As another Vic Champs comes to a close I sincerely want to thank everyone that attended this week for making this event the best weekend in golf. It’s the people that make this event what it is and I’ve loved every minute of it.

Lefty a huge congrats on organising another great Vic Champs, the courses, the meals, the scout camp were all top notch.

Courty and Benno_r for driving me around for a week and a half thank you very much.

Looking forward to 2021, it would appear my deposit is already paid

Don’t get too excited just yet. It was a spud-athon. I finished second and didn’t beat my handicap on any of the days.
