Default Cobra f9 the hype is REAL!

So just purchased a cobra f9 and was fitted for a 10.5 with a hazardous smoke.
Previously I had a pxg driver and before that a cobra f8 so Im not upgrading from a driver thats more than 5 years old where you would expect big performance jump from old to new.
I have been watching all the reviews on the driver on you tube from TXG, Rick shiels etc before I pulled the trigger, I was little sceptical on all the glowing reviews.
I had my first round with it yesterday and all I can say is WOW the hype around this driver is real.
The big difference I instantly noticed was how far the ball went on mishits especially low heal. I was not loosing much distance at all and I couldnt believe how tight my shot dispersion was on good and bad strikes.
On good hits its easily longer than my PXG and cobra, I play at ocean shores and if you guys know the 18th hole I was 195m out on the upslope on the par 5 after my drive into the wind yesterday. Im usually there on a still day or with the wind behind but havent been that far out hitting into a decent breeze.
If you guys are in the market for a driver this year make sure to try this one out!

Bought it from a local pro in Wollongong. Getting it with the Fuji Atmos shaft. If it doesnt beat the Rogue out of my bag, it will be up for sale here soon. 😉

I wonder if BITS will get one that I can call dibs on when he's ready to move it on? I'm still using the Fly Z+ that he let go. 😁

I play with titties now! Your next driver will be more awesome than a cobra.

Not even close. It doesn't even warrant a capital letter.

If it did have a capital, it would then be better than the Wilson C series or D Series, but not as good as the Ping G series.

Cobra used to have an S series, so presumably they were even better.

I'll have to look through Daves thread to continue this theme, but I don't think I'll bother. I'll just wait until he gets one.

Seriously though, Cobra should give Rick Shiels and TXG guys a big thank you card and endless supply of beer. Thats the reason I got interested in this driver as well. Much more effective than all the marketing hype.

I'm waiting to demo the Gen2 PXG drivers against the F9 before I really decide which to be on the lookout for later in the year

Had another round yesterday and was more impressed than the first round.
Just super long on good hits and forgiving on mis hits, Ive probably gained another 10m on the fly compared to my old f8 which I loved.

    I hit this today.
Didn't see any difference in ball speed to my ts3.
I do prefer the sound of the f9 though.
