    Default The Pureform Callaway/Taylormade Day

Just wondering if anyone else went to this?

I missed the speeches but did some hitting on Trackman against my current driver.

Shockingly, I was told a new driver would give me 10 more metres.

A TM M6 in my case.

The numbers were better (I was told) than the driver I took with me (G400 Max). However, they were no better than the last time I was fitted at Pureform (albeit indoors).

Every single person I observed also has better numbers with a new Callaway or TM driver.

    Am I being too cynical?

Did standard or aftermarket shafts give better numbers for everyone?

If the former, then wait for phase 2.

It will start with being shown a thin walled cross-section of a cheap OEM shaft and the thicker walled example from an aftermarket shaft specialist.

I’m surprised you only gained 10 metres....
We where hitting the M6 and Epic Flash for me at least 20+ metres further than my current driver.
    BUT.......
It was playing down wind, and I had the luxury of a personal fitter (Jenner himself) and I hit the new VA shafts https://www.vashafts.com
In fact I was the first in Australia to hit them out in real conditions and yes, they are very good and they would want to be at an up charge of $450+ per shaft....
We where hitting from the mat at the back of the range, so 15-20 metres behind all the trackman bays....
Flying them into the bunker at the back of the range which is 250+ metres.
Trav hit a few that flew the top of the bunker on the fly, say 260m carries (but he deos bomb it)....

How many shafts did you try?
Did you put your shaft into the head?
