Maroochy River black swan today, played pretty steady for 17 holes, then vomitted all over myself with a quad on 18 for nett 70.
Didn't miss a fairway until 18, but a couple of silly 3 jiggles on 8 and 17 were painful.

Usual comp at usual place , 32 pts 16/16 , no wipes , 1 x 3 putt , managed only one 3 pointer on 17 which was only time I got a putt online and up to the hole , greens were slowest I have ever seen them

I had a very disappointing 33 points today.
Sometimes 33 seems a good score, but not today. I had a bit of luck, many of my poor shots finished in easy positions, and my recovery game was good. But i stopped getting away with it late in the round, and faded away.
Two holes were big highlights for the group. On 6 my partner holed his wedge approach for 3/5, and an opponent was left crying at losing a hole with 4/4. Later, on 10, the other two players squared the hole with 3/4 each. So we all had a 4 pointer or better during the round.
"There are 50 things to remember in the golf swing. Trouble is that I can only remember 49 of them" - Bob Hope.

Stroke at beaconhills today second round of grand masters, turns out my 75 ots last week was equal leader , shot 36 front nine two birdies two bogeys, 41 second nine , started hooking and couldn’t get a putt one birdie one double bogey and five bogeys , 77 ots put me in a tie for first and lost it on a countback , turns out I blew a 5 shot lead on the last nine . Choker ??? 77 nett 71 was handicap but it felt way worse . The three birdies were all on holes I already have in eclectic so even that’s a bit of a bummer.

Social at Morack today, front 9 only.Played it 1 over after a 3 putt on 9,greens were SLOW and soft and long and terrible.I was really disappointed in the way they played at this time of year.Which was completely different to the fairways that were in excellent condition.Like alot of public courses it plays short, although they do have several teired greens which can make it a little more challenging. Some good bunkering protecting the greens as well.Beware the local golfers, had a few balls coming across fairways and no warning.Almost got hit on the 8th green when an errant drive from the 5th came past, didn't here a call or even get a sorry when he walked his buggy over the green.

An exciting, epic even, ballstriking display this arvo in the muck. While the driver has been off my irons have been much improved. The MP33’s are back and going nowhere.
Officially the course has received over 2m in the last 7 weeks so given the mowing has been light on conditions were good for a quick 5 hole loop. The weather was even pretty good. Fingers crossed for a dry night and a sunny day tomorrow because the forecast for Saturday is good!!
