Although I have never travelled Vortex I heard that you need a pencil or small golf bag in order for it to fit in luggage

If you don't have one they have stock and will swap out your bag

There are a few on here who have recent vortex experience I think.

They’ll have info about luggage requirements.

The best value in Australian golf. 36 holes on the fantastic Barnbougles for $150 or less in off peak.

    Here's the best tip...

Postpone your trip and join the mayhem at the OZgolf VIC Champs, which just so happens to be at Barny this year.

Red bellies or browns? If it's red bellies, I'm going in, if it's browns, I'm staying out!

There are only 3 types of snakes in Tasmania: tigers, browns and copperhead. Golf balls aren’t that expensive.
    Forum needs more banter.

When you return, tell anyone who hasn't played there how good it is.

    Repeatedly.

And ignore their request to shut up about it.

    Spot on.

It’s understandable though, it’s a pretty special place.

I remember when I went there...

Playing it from the tips can make for a less fun experience. If you have multiple rounds then go for it, if not then consider moving forward every so often. Eg. Playing BD4 from whatever tee puts you in range to at least think about going for the green depending on wind etc. will be more fun.

But also at least go back and have a look from the black tee on BD17 even if you don't play the shot.
