I got an email saying they have 20% of SIM 2, but they're the same prices they've had for weeks, so Honma might not actually be any cheaper either.

edit: no, the Honma deal is a code, so probably is an actual price drop.

They did have the SIM2 etc on at full price a few weeks back but maybe they didn't sell any so put them back on sale.

not got a ute as such , this is just the old model driving iron.
its really very good if u dont mind a fuller shape and have a SWEEP NOT DIG swing.
the newer model is more iron like A sleeker, MUSCLIER iron , the one in my photo is more of a ute/di chunkier style its the easier to hit.
both are excellent from a tee. the later one is better for shaping and working . this one is more point shoot , im pretty sure this goes a bit longer as well,.

i liked the feel of the older version better so i kept that and sold the newer one asi a wanted a more ute style than iron style
this one has the VIZARD shaft which as a stock shaft is very good!
ive had no need to swap it out.
its not suoer stiff, it gets a bit of whip and feels super.

IMO if u prefer irons more then newer DI is better suited, if u prefer utes/.woods then the old model cud suit more

cud really have kept both thinking about it..................

same here - watched this and thought ... what a marketing genius move or massive wank.

Endless shots of people looking a heads and clubs in a brooding knowing way.

Honma's main market is very different to us. We like to brag to our freinds how cheap we paid for our clubs, and anyone who paid more is a sucker.

Yet in Indonesia and i think its the same throughout Asia wherever golf is an elite sport, its the reverse, the bragging rights go to the guy who pays the higher price, because simply its better if its more expensive. Honma feeds this need with its gold ferrules.

Thats also why you wont find counterfeit golf clubs in asia, there is no market for them, nobody wants to be shamed as a cheapskate.
