No surprise I love my jdm, had most of them and my latest Honma 737vs are exceptional even with my gumby swing. The best aspect currently is how easy it is to take a decent divot and the shot not feel fat, not experienced this in my previous sets. Gained distance and this could very well be attributed to the shafts, reg and not stiff in this instance....Justin rang me a while ago and I told him to go for it, Im happy and Im sure you will be as well I said 😜😜
My Son in law just bought some Epon 503s from a member on here and they are also the sweetest sticks around, shafted with KBS Tour 90s, they just launch, amazing. If I ever use steel shafts again, they are on my short list, anyone else swung these shafts??

I listened to a podcast the other day and they had Patrick Boyd on. He made a very interesting point about grinds and turf interaction being the primary thing they focus on when building custom irons.
Certainly where its at with mine Sam.....My Onoff Kuros and Honmas have totally different sole grinds and the Honmas, for me, work extremely well. Having said that, the lie angle on the Honmas is more upright which would also have a bearing. Will get the House of Chappy to adjust the onoffs and see how they work then.

I also heard this podcast I think. (Gear dive?)
I'm a bit of a digger with irons and wedges and I know my current blades and previously the srixon range played better than most through the turf.
Made me want to try the Edel irons for their high bounce. Looking back I could have kept my Edel wedges and worked on my techniques more but that's not as fun is it.
