Young Murray making a real mess of these playoff holes. My boy Wade Ormsby might have made an escape after an unbelievable up and up and down.

    Default 2019 European Tour

Ryan Fox is killing it, 3up thru 3.

I wish Warren would learn how to pronounce Otaegui’s name correctly.

Given he has every vowel in his name, imagine the carnage if they had to pronounce it over the dutch

I felt a bit sorry for Scott Vincent in the 3rd and 4th playoff.

The tournament had been already won by Ryan Fox, but Vincent and Dunne had to keep going even though nobody, except for Vincent, I suppose, actually cared who came 3rd and who came 4th. I daresay almost everyone was hoping Vincent missed his putt on the 6th, and then were hoping he missed his putt on the 7th, just to get it over with.

I think it would be better for 3rd and 4th to share the prize if it is all square after six. Nobody wanted to see any more golf after the winner had been determined.

News is there were multiple putters and gear stolen from the locker room at LK on Sat night. Wade's was one of them.

Seems like they targeted Scotties or other custom putters.

Word from a member I worked with was at least 10-12 putters were taken. Wade had his gamer and backup taken.

I wouldn't have thought the final round of the Qatar Masters would turn into desirable viewing, but it has, due to the Aussie involvement.

Qatar was always the poor cousin of the Desert Swing, and it drew the very short straw in the new schedule by being against the Arnold Palmer and being the week before the Players. So there is virtually no star power at all.

A quick view has also revealed that the course looks poorly conditioned, which is unusual for the Middle East. The commentators haven't said anything (that I've heard), but clearly there is/was something wrong there.

But, we have three Aussies in contention with one round to play, all of whom would get a major career boost if they get the win. So I'll be watching with more interest than usual for such a relatively minor event.

They've said that the course suffered from an inundation of salt water earlier in the year when they were explaining the look of the greens

Bah! Who cares about the WGC Matchplay when we can watch my favourite event, the Indian Open from the DLF Club in New Delhi.

The actual golf won't be all that great, even though the Fireman is playing.

But the real excitement is in watching and listening to the architecture buffs getting outraged by the course.

I haven't seen 17 on the coverage yet, but the mind really boggles when I see that hole.

I'm a particular fan of the false revetting of the bunker faces, apparently made of foam.
