I did a thread thing about the course: https://www.ozgolf.net/showthread.ph...lub-Gold-Coast

Jindalee is cheaper than Corinda, and is definitely better value. It's also the closest course to home. I'm sure I'll have a few more social hits there with friends this year, but it's time to start playing 18 hole courses in a comp.

Thanks Flavzz, as a result of it the bank balance took a bit of a hammering early on in the year.

Not going on any major trips for the rest of the year, Loxton and perhaps a trip down the limestone coast that we are touting for November

correct, normally like to get up to Loxton every two years. The local Foodland runs the tournament who I have known for quite some time as a former sponsor and customer (in my last job)

It is the best time to play the course as they set it up like a tier 1/2 track with fast greens and tight fairways and surrounds.

You got plenty of time, Entries close Fri 12th July.
Thinking if I could logistically do this travelling up each day.
Some Opens have Saturday and Sunday play only options. This one its enter for the 36 holes or nothing.

There are some who simply don't turn up on Sunday, mostly because they had a bad round the day before

I recommend that no one else adds this course to their list, unless you're taking your beginner kiddy or having a pissup game with mates. It's just too rough for a serious golfer, particularly the "fairways".

Yes, and people were turning up with their buggies to drive around it. It might be just me, but if I went to the expense of owning a buggy if be finding anywhere better to play. But, it got me out to have a game of golf with you so that's a positive.
