I hope they all keep up the golfing over the weekend, will make for good viewing.

Poults is great to watch when the putter warms up.

The way they are planning & dismantling the course is impressive, the concentration needed to play the course is massive as you are 1 bad swing away from a double/treble, although the lack of rough is making it a bit easier than normal.

I like the "lack of" rough. It's still there, and it's thick as hell, but it's very strategic.

The players that caught the rough around the greens all had stupidly crazy shots to deal with & they all took their medicine, for the most part.

Was the shot into 16 that made my jaw drop. For a guy that was hitting his irons like a busted he somehow kept it in there.

Give him credit for going hard at the pin on 17. That’s all-or-nothing right there.

Rors is back! Expecting him to go on a bit of a winning run now

Really felt for Rahm as he was well placed to win or at least been top 3 but had a terrible final round dropping so many shots and places. Goes to show how good the field is!

Wtf!?? Rahm thinking he could swoop that in there with a big hook around the tree over the water. Who does he think he is, Tiger? I mean seriously though, massively low percentage shot, even his caddy was shaking his head.

Sometimes I really think Rahm doesn't have a good golfers head on his shoulders. Just an absolutely crazy shot and he paid for it.

    Happy to see Rors win.

Rahm mentioned Saturday night after his 64 he is actively working on keeping a clear head and not getting so emotional.

He passed on Saturday, failed on Sunday.

He's been doing so well at keeping the mental side of the game under wraps, or at least outwardly.

Sunday, well, let's just say he had a "moment", and leave it at that, albeit possibly an expensive moment.

Interesting read on Rahm's choice of shot on the 11th and interaction with his caddie.

Sure, lose your shit and give up a massive prize in golf, The Players, just to show you're not like the rest. Yep, good strategy, worked out well for him didn't it.

It's not just him to consider either, there's his caddie, his support team, his family. But no, clearly wanting to pull off the one percenter and look like a hero was the better option. Oh wait.....

Interesting that Rahm insists he was right, but that the caddie put some doubt into his mind.

It’s kind of essential that he believes he was right. Confidence is everything for these guys.
Cinderella story, out of nowhere, former greenskeeper, now about to become a Masters champion..... It looks like a mirac.. It's in the hole! It's in the hole!

If it happened to Robert Allenby, the caddy would have been sacked before the end of the round.

He doesn't appreciate the difference that a good caddy makes.
Hopefully when he keeps making these stupid mistakes he will realise the error of his ways!
