Technically this should be the starter of the PGA Tour thread for 2020, but we don't have one yet, and it may be a bit confusing to start it early.

I won't miss Gary McCord at all. I don't like his 'what about me, aren't I funny' style of commentary.

However, I always liked Peter Kostis and his analysis via the Konica Minolta swing vision thing, and he was pretty good as an on-course guy. I was surprised when I went to the tourney in 18 to see that Kostis didn't actually walk with the players. He was in a cart, driven by another CBS employee. Understanding though, he must be either pushing 70 or maybe beyond.

It may be of some interest to see which way CBS goes with the replacements. More personality or more technical analysis?

What a shame they didn't get rid of Baker Finch also.

This week is going to test us as golf fans.

Once again, Fox aren't showing the WGC, so as far as men's golf is concerned, the Bermuda Championship is it. As an alternate field event, you can't expect the stars, but this might be the weakest field I've ever seen. Even more strangely, they seem to have made up the numbers with blast from the past old guys. I can't say I've been wondering about the golf games of Frank Likliter or Ted Purdy. Go Rhein Gibson!.

I would have watched the LPGA anyway, but it is looking like by far the best option this week.

I’ve been following Zac Blair on Instagram this week and he’s been playing a few other courses in the local area. Looks like a magic spot there in Bermuda.

GOLFTV isn't bad. You can get a free 7 day trial. I'm considering ditching Kayo (at least for the time being) and just going with GOLFTV. Although the commentary yesterday wasn't quite up the usual standard of PGA events...

The commentary must have been bad because standard PGA tour broadcasts are complete crap! I regularly go to the States with work and I turn the sound off when watching PGA Tour events.

I like the CBS coverage, followed by NBC.

However the Euro coverage is 1000x better.

    +1,000,000.

Hardly watch PGA tour because of the commentary and prefer the courses in the Euro Tour.

Massive, massive Rory fan...really hope he finds some of Brooks's toughness and tenacity in the majors in 2020. I know he's got plenty on time on his side yet, but his swing deserves many, many more majors.

Brendon Todd with two wins in a row and Aussie Brad Hughes helped him rebuild his swing after a disastrous swing change in 2014.

Looks like a waste area but is that cheating? Breaking a rule yeah but outright cheating? That word gets thrown around a bit much I reckon.

Intentionally breaking a rule is cheating.

He clearly improves his lie twice and has a history of dodgy behaviour.

He's an effing lying cheating prick. Always has been. Should be kicked off the tour for a period of time.

So his previous issues over 10 years ago means he cheated now?

Was it an observation? Or just a way to walk back from an odd point?
