I may be condoning cheating, but I wouldn't expect a penalty for someone who drops a ball from a little below or above knee height, the same as I didn't take much notice if it was a little below or above shoulder height.

Beaconhills has decided to not play the Irish drop local rule . Not sure I agree , when you combine it with the 3 min lost ball , I think we are going to be slower and or see more ncr . Twice today we had lost balls and no provisionals hit because neither where bad shots they just vanished . Was a stroke round so back they went . One ball was found after the next ball was in play . Our course has lots of trees and lots of slopes with lots of run so 3 mins isn’t long enough to explore all possible hiding places . I think we should be playing the rule
