That might be true for most people but in summer Wbennett can stretch his bed time to 9 o’clock when going crazy on holiday. He rises and sleeps with the sun.

In fact, he thinks so much like a rooster, many have described him as a **** head.

Sounds similar to the late shoulder season in Scotland. No crowds, light winds, cool weather, arriving at the pub with the fire on... What could be better?

10* ain’t that bad. I’ve played Machrihanish in November - think west coast of Scotland, blowing 35mph and sideways rain coming off the Irish Sea. Then on day 2 the sun came out and there was this light zephyr of a breeze - a magical day.

I understand a lot of people who do a trip like Barny want to make sure they get the best weather because it could be the only time they ever go.

Although I think Clayts is right, the upside is worth it.

Just bumping this for Benno. Can’t be having it replaced with blah, blah, blah....

early September. The winds start in September and continue to the end of October!

I played last month in a 6 club breeze. Actually great fun...just don’t try and keep score!

    Blakey,
it’s not the gold coast but if you have several layers and a decent jumper it is fine. I personally prefer late march as that is our most stable weather in Tassy. 15*c during the day...about 5*c at night...generally lightish winds.
