Monthly Medal 75 nett 75, hit it like a busted ass, lucky the short game was working.
Was trying a new G400 Max and couldn't keep it on the course, need to experiment with it a little more.

I had my worst round in a decade.
Embarrassingly, I played with a lovely guy, Ruben Lal, who was scouting the course ahead of tomorrow's Pro-Am at Wynnum. Shot two under and left a tonne of shots out there. Nicest guy, too. I hope he goes deep into the money tomorrow.

Played monthly stroke play yesterday. One of those bogey golf day where i keep missing the green and chipping is just not near the hole for 1 putt.
A few brain fart holes ended the day with 93.
Another disappointing day as i seem to be hitting the shots good but just not staying on the greens.
Need to work on my chipping games again

MM with Olinda at Beaconhills on Saturday.Had 82/71.Never really got started, never really played bad, just a day of hit shots and putt.Had 3x3 putts, drove the ball pretty well and seemed to be striking the irons pretty well.Ended with 35 putts for the day, almost half my score.

I guess,I wasn't going to though.
Topped a 3 wood off the tee, middle fairway but only about 120m.With the fairway being re grassed and playing to nearest relief,I was left with a 192m uphill shot to the front of green. The ball being placed was now maybe 4 inches above my feet,so gave it a wack with the 3 wood and stuck it to 2 feet.Birdie Putt centre cup.Turns out I nailed the shot and thought it would be long, green keeper was nice enough to cut the pin at the back.

Stableford at beaconhills, nice warm day bit breezy at times . 18/17 off 6 . Two wipes ,one each nine , on easy holes from terrible tee shots . Only one one pointer ,consecutive birdies on 14 and 15 , woulda coulda shoulda type round .

2-ball ambrose today with the Navy GC Social Club. My partner (the club Prez) & I shot 67/61 (par 70). 1 solitary bogey and 4 birdies. Wasn't enough for the win however, got beaten by a 70/59, but held on for 2nd place.

My course greens were renovated 10 days ago. I kept driving past on comp days and the players seemed to be enjoying themselves in good golfing weather. So I took the plunge and played today.
I didn't enjoy myself. The greens were awful (for me) and my swing was awful. 28 points was the final result. Even worse was that two of my playing partners both scored 43 points each. I'd say I don't know how they did it, but I saw it first hand. My putts kept wobbling all over the place, and theirs kept going dead straight into the hole.
"There are 50 things to remember in the golf swing. Trouble is that I can only remember 49 of them" - Bob Hope.

Played in a vw scramble this morning, 67/58.75 , we had 7 birdies but 3 bogies as well ( 3 lip outs on the par putt from me ) a real woulda coulda shoulda round , lost count of the lip outs let alone the shaved hole putts . My own game was fairly ordinary, kept going left
