Just speaking at the dinner. We have friends out from England for their first visit so time is squeezed. Kathy Shearer will be the highlight of the dinner. No one has better stories.

I really enjoyed Lukas' interview with Andy on The Fried Egg podcast episode from the other week. Great win in the Mid Am in Colorado. Bizarre what happened at the end of the Final there.

Would be interested to know if Bob had a running gag about a Titleist 4. I know the origin of that story, but this is different, a group of us players were drinking at my club during a tournament, and Bob (had quite a few) just turns and looks at me out of the blue and says " have you seen a titleist 4?" I thought it was nice of him to hello but i dont get the joke, i wasnt swimming

Be interesting if Clayton responds to the insinuation in the current Australian Golf Digest interview about Cape Wickham, that he left Darius Oliver out to dry over the co credits for the course design.

How did he leave him out to dry? I would suggest that most of the GCA world have a similar opinion as to who did the majority of CW!

It's pretty clear. It seems that DeVries has now had to to backtrack in his own online material, crediting Darius.

So I bought it.
I personally think that DO may have had a few ideas that were contributed…but he did next to zero of the actual work that puts a routing on the ground. He is a unreservedly ‘ideas man’. As for the owner contributing 20%, I think that is highly unlikely. If he was inputing, I see exactly why MD walked. Notice that Bill Coore wanted nothing to do with the project when the owner wanted input into the design.
