We already have a few who have tentatively signed up for this.

The only way I won't do it is if I am Vic Champ!

Going to have a round early on Friday at Tasmania GC if anyone else is keen. Was a member there once and compared to Royal Hobart it is more scenic and challenging but not as well maintained.

    count me in

Tasmania is a good layout but absolutely smothered in trees, don't be alarmed by the first hole it is one of the worst openings to a round anywhere

At Tasmania the proshop opens at 8am so it's just a matter of paying as we swing back at the 6th tee. Going to call the office this morning to see if any coperate days are booked.

Stapleford format comp, just us as all they have is a chook run in the arvo.
NTP on the 4 par 3's and Long Drive on the 16th.
Donation to Beyond Blue if you three putt the 18th. (as most people do, scary green!)
    Suggest $10 comp fee
    Tasmania GC shirt for winner
and a pint at Royal for all NTP's
    any surplus to Beyond Blue

Just called Tasmania GC and no go as they have a trade day. Alternative is a funky 9 hole track at Pittwater. Was also a member there in the day. Very scenic as it is in a bird sanctuary and has a pretty good layout.

Pittwater Golf Club Inc. is situated at Midway Point, approximately 25km south-east of Hobart, Tasmania. The club features a picturesque nine hole golf course set along the shores of Orielton Lagoon, a RAMSAR wetland of international significance. The course is fully irrigated using recycled water, allowing for lush green fairways, tees and greens all year round. Our clubroom and bar facilities are open and operated by Club members on competition days. The course and facilities are also available for Corporate Days and to Affiliated Members. In addition, Pittwater welcomes other visitors, on payment of green fees, at times when social golf will not interfere with scheduled competitions. Green Fees (2019): $20 – all players, all ages, 9 or 18 holes

Updated spreadsheet attached, please review your details and let me know if anything is wrong, or fill in the blanks / reds if applicable.

If anyone is thinking about entering NOW is the time. As of next week I'll have to lock in numbers with Hobart Airport Travelodge for Thursday and Friday nights, so if you enter after that you'll have to make your own accomm arrangements. Won't be able to guarantee a room or our pricing.

Sunday night stayers: There are ony 12 of us, so I'm just going to find us a cheap and cheerful motel, no muss no fuss. Hope you're all cool with that. I'll update you with a price once I get it sorted.

Monday players: Confirmed for a 2 tee start from 7.30am, no veterans comp being held now, so we'll have basically free run of the course. Launceston GC have offered us a lunch pack for $15 consisting of a bottle of water, salad roll, muesli bar and a piece of fruit. I made the executive decision to say yes to these for everyone. If you don't like it, stiff noogies. Please also indicate Yes or No for a $5 pull cart for this day if you haven't already...

I think that is all for now, speak soon. Lots of luv,

    Lefty.
