I'm in. The Mrs happened to ask what I want for my birthday and I said this was it.

Just need to organise whatever we are doing for my youngest's birthday for the prior weekend and I might be able to head down for the Thursday round (to be confirmed).

Golf is, in part, a game; but only in part. It is also in part a religion, a fever, a vice, a mirage, a frenzy, a fear, an abscess, a joy, a thrill, a pest, a disease, an uplift, a brooding, a melancholy, a dream of yesterday and a hope for tomorrow. - New York Tribune, 1916.

So it seems accommodation on Saturday and Sunday in Bridport may be an issue, so I need to know ASAP whether you intend to a) stay with the group, and b) stay Sunday night also...

    All help greatly appreciated.

    Currently looking at this place...

I'm happy to stay with the group but looking to fly home Sunday night. There is a 6pm Jetstar flight out of Launceston that looks like it should work out okay.

Super light pencil for me. We have a baby on the way in my household and this is only 6 weeks after the arrival. Might miss my first Vic Champs, unless things go swimmingly and I can negotiate a couple of nights away. I won't know until late in the piece.

Spewing, I'm probably the only OzGolfer who still hasn't played Barny!
Still not playing enough GolfLink | Slightly less terrible stats brought to you by Golfshot - F: 57%, GIR: 23%, UD: 14%, P: 34. Wow, improvement! | Nickent brand ho or tightarse? You be the judge!

Don’t sweat it, you don’t want to be one of these wankers who bangs on about it constantly.
