    Default Brisbane

I am in Brisbane from the 22nd of December to 9th of January for a family Christmas. Just putting it out there if anyone would like a hit or 2 over this time period. I am playing off 8ish at the moment but that is slowly coming down.

I might be interested in having a hit, Kriso, if I get the all clear from the physio at that stage. Where were you thinking?

My Uncle is a member at Virginia so already having a hit there so I am open to suggestions as will have a car for the first week? Will not know exact days I can get away until a little closer, but have been given the go ahead for 3 rounds while there.

Thank you, what club are you? I am keen to try out some courses as I played Nudgee quite a few years ago and that's the only time I have played in Brisbane.

I'm not based at a club, and just have a handicap maintenance membership. I play less than half a dozen games a year at the moment, so the course doesn't bother me too much. We can cross Nudgee off the list though, so you get to see somewhere different.

Really like the look of Brookwater, if time permits I may very well take you up on that. How long a drive from Manly would that be?

You shouldn't pass it up, Kriso, although it could be bloody steamy there at that time of year.

Happy to take three out there on the day FWIW once we lock in the day, over that period they normally run single stab's every day.

You could add at least 15 minutes to that on a good day I’d reckon

$55 I would be keen on that also. Can't promise I will play any better than I did at Reddy the other week however

Kriso, do you think some of these guys are really keen to play with you, or are scabbing a cheap round at Brookwater?

You should enjoy Wynnum. It's a shorter course, but generally in good condition if it hasn't been too wet. Henno is a member there.

Not sure but beats playing rounds on my own and meeting some golfing people. You should enjoy Wynnum. It's a shorter course, but generally in good condition if it hasn't been too wet. Henno is a member there.[/QUOTE]Kind of use to short courses coming from Townsville.

Happy to host at Wynnum once I confirm my Christmas movements. I am only 900m or so from the course, so rather convenient.

Wynnum Is a great little track, playing there in the back marker this Friday.

Pacific is your other very close good option to where you are staying.
