Indro wil be over the next couple of weeks.

Keperra is another one im thinking about.

Were else could i look at?

Im after a good club atmosphere as well as a good course.

    Cheers

You might want to consider Pacific or RQ depending on where you are living. Other tracks OXley, Nudgee, Gailes.

    Cheers Petey

RQ is less than 10 mins away, but not sure on the application process. Im assuming i would need to know 5 members

Oxley is a bit to far away.

Pacific looks ok. Whats it like getting a game on a saturday?

    Welcome,

Nudgee might be a good option as well and the new redevelopment of the course will happen in the next couple of year. Lots of forum members will happily drag you around
If it aint for sale the right price has just not been offered

    Cheers guys.

We will be moving into Ascot next week. Working at the airport.

Nudgee is very close. Will look more into that one as well.

A refurb at Nudgee means a lot of disturbances?

RQ if you can afford it, if you live and work there.

I had Indro membership many moons ago (2006-2008 or so) and I would highly recommend it. Great facilities and four 9 hole courses that they mix-n-match. It's just a bit too far for me, living at Manly.

I was a member at Pacific for some years also and enjoyed my time there, but you have to pay to hop over the gateway bridge and back for every game, living at Ascot (unless you go the long way).

They have a tad over 27 holes in play currently and changes should be well managed

They should also be flush with cash for future improvements, which is rare for a golf club.

(Disclaimer: as a non-member I haven't actually seen their books. This is pure speculation.)

An easy stagger home from The Stables craft beer bar, and an easy drive to Hop & Vine, and Sense Of Taste for your takeaways.

I told the wife how close we were to a great venue. She wasn't too impressed.

We'll have to have a "Welcome to Brisbane" Beer there together, as I work at Hendra, which is the suburb between Ascot and the airport.

Sense of Taste at Portside has plenty of takeaway options, and four growler fill stations too.
