    Hit more fairways.

You'll never get a birdy if you're chipping out sideways for your second.

Rounds i get birdies are generally better driving rounds.

I genuinely believe the more you think about trying to make birdies/trying not to make mistakes, the worse off you'll be at both. I've found i play my best golf when not trying to worry about what i'm doing or where i'm hitting it. You'll make more birdies being aggressive, you'll probably make some mistakes along the way as well. But get your confidence up and you'll be fine.

Leslie Neilsen says the best way to guarantee a par everytime is to leave a 2 foot birdie putt six inches short... so all you have to do is to make the 2-footer.

Our par 3's are long.19th hole is 196m down hill,21st is 172m slightly up hill,2nd is about 200m very down hill but the 6th is only 129m,uphill. And very rarely will you be standing on a fairway with the ball at the same level as your feet.Even if only an inch or 2,just about every fairway has slope on it
Lakes par 5 is really a par 4🤣Your games damm solid, birds will come, attack the flags bud

I made par there a few weeks ago with driver ,3 wood, 3 wood , 30 mts pitch , tap in putt .Driver was a low pull hook that didn’t make the start of the hill first 3 wood was along the ground going under a tree branch still not up to where I usually am second 3 wood was ok but a wet fairway killed any run .

No birdies for me again today.Had a few long chances, actually considering I had 78ots I hit quite a few greens in reg.Cape Shank greens were primo,I just struggled with the read, and being on the wrong tier a couple of times.Considering I had 35 putts which included 2 x 3putts in the first 3 holes,I think I putted pretty reasonably.

Lower your expectations. I'm off 6ish and don't make birdies every round. Either improve your putting or iron/wedge play. No magic formula here just hard work.

Pretty good 2 weeks ago.The wind and sun has dried it out a bit.Still soft enough on the greens to attack pins,a few fairways are a bit heavy but you get that on such a hilly course.

It’s all pretty good , couple of spots where they did drainage work on 16 and 14 that aren’t great. The fairways are running , greens are reasonably quick, 19 to 27 are slower than 1 to 18 , how much slower will depend on how short they cut them and if they roll them .

Try micro dosing with LSD before a round and then wash it down with 6 beers! Helps settle the nerves and really gets rid of the gitters! So much better than the Betta’s of the 90’s! Sometimes you may need to refill on the back nine but that often leads to a bogey or two and acting weird! Try it out, sure will make more than your fair share of birds.
