It looks as though the sprinkers near the greens have been working. Which I think is a bit of a shame. It would have been nice to see the greens running out the same as the fairways, because these greens are designed (or evolved) for that sort of thing, unlike those at Shinnecock.

But, with a bit of breeze they may get a bit more fiery later in the week.

It doesn't really matter though. The course still looks fantastic.

I agree - looks amazing... i am happy with the green a bit softer to start... it shoudl allow them to keep it flat and true..

then come saturday oh yeah !!!

    Just don’t let Kisner win.
Don’t know what it is with him but something gives me shivers.

I think he’s a dude. He’s sharing a house with Spieth, JT, Rickie, Jimmy Walker and Jason Dufner so maybe it’s rubbing off.

I have been a fan ever since I watched that video.

On an interesting side note, Palmetto suspended him after that video was released.

That’s why it is something that I would do once in a blue moon, even when playing on teams where guys would do it game in, game out.

Not really an issue in Aus when you can’t get the stuff.

I tried it in Afghanistan because all our US partners loved the stuff. Not for me but I’ve got heaps of mates that did it casually.

You need the right flavour to enjoy it.
