Smile Explorer Challenge Rnd 2 - Sunday August 12th 8:00 am. Mt Tamborine

Tamborine on August 12th at 8:00 am. 3 groups booked, and 3 carts booked.

Best make a list. I will confirm with them the week before for numbers.

Which course to play? Tentatively Sunday August 12 8:00 am 29th July, so we get it out of the way well before the QLD champs.

Village Links and Tamborine are 9 hole - 18 tee courses.
I have played Mt Warren a couple of times. Popper was a member there before he went walkabout.

Tamborine Mountain has a brewery, so it gets my vote.

I rang Tamborine today. They have interclub on the 29th so no tee times before 12. I have booked in at 8am on August 12 for 3 groups, and booked the remaining 3 carts they had. To be confirmed obviously. Cost is $43.50 with a shared cart, or $26 walking.

Cool. I'd prefer walking over carts. I'll pencil it in the calendar, although it will mean missing the last junior home and away footy game. That should be okay, as long as they make finals. If not, I'm not so sure.

Bumpy Bumpy. Any more interest? I'll have to call in and cancel the extra groups and the carts this weekend.

I sure would if I was home, but not back until 22nd. I have great memories of that place - 2nd course I ever played, and first (and only) one I ever rolled a golf buggy.

Hmmm, where are all the choppers that used to play? Any ferrets still around?
