That was something I noticed at Queenscliff - the miss left was wet or goonge, the miss right was onto the next fairway.

    I missed everything left.

Struggled in the 3rd round today with a 97 after starting with a par. Couldn't putt and couldn't get off the tee. Thought I had blown it but the bloke I was tied with had a 102 so I gained 5 shots on him. It was cold this morning. Will be interesting if anyone further back in the pack can come through with a good score.

    4BBB Stableford today with Courty.

We started great, 1 under the front side with 22 points.

    Then.....

    Bogey
    Bogey
    Par
    Triple
    Bogey
    Par
    Par
    Par
    Bogey

To limp home with 16 points.

Some positives though I hit 78% of fairways and putted well.

    30 points

Started with 2 wipes so not too unhappy with that outcome.

Had a round in the Mug today as a warm up for Saturday. With the issues I have been having putting I dug out Dr Bob and read again. I had been getting in my way.

Shot 85, 29 putts including 2 x 3 putts. 9 pars, 2 doubles, a triple (got stuck in a bunker .... ) and 6 bogies. Net 67 but only good enough for a ball coming 3rd. I am hoping I can keep my head in the same place on Saturday.

I had a frustratingly good and frustratingly bad round today, scoring 35 points.

I played my seven shot holes in 2 over, and the 11 no-shot holes in 6 over, including a birdie. It was no problem for me to hit greens if I was 3 wood distance out, but the middle irons weren't working properly, and my short game wasn't quite there. Lots of good shots with the long clubs, so that was pleasing.

The weather forecast is for buckets of rain next week, so I may not have an opportunity to improve upon this round for a few weeks.

98 in the last round. Want a chop fest, put 4 C Graders in contention in the same group. Some of the pins were quite nasty and the course was long. However my crappy score was good enough to win C Grade by 3 shots. Came 4th in Net. Goal is to be competitive in B Grade next year.

Very well done Pete. It was tough going out there. I somehow hung on to win the Senior A Grade Nett.
