I think at least the Honda engine can be better than the Renault this year, the Renault engine has been slow and unreliable this year!!

    Bring back the Ford DFV.

It used to fill 8 of the 10 lines on that table.

It's only a report/claim made by the Daily Mail and not confirmed by Renault, Red Bull or Ricciardo yet.

My understanding is that Redbull won't upgrade his contract like they did with Verstappen last year.

Wow! Maybe they’ve thrown a massive offer at him. With Mercedes and Ferrari saying no and Red Bull going to Honda he’d be running around mid field anyway so he may as well go with whoever gives him the most cash. The engines change again in 2 years so he’ll still be young enough to make another move to chase a title then.
Cinderella story, out of nowhere, former greenskeeper, now about to become a Masters champion..... It looks like a mirac.. It's in the hole! It's in the hole!

Will he be a no1 at Renault? Maybe that was part of the appeal as well.

I think you're right there. He will be the no.1 at Renault I would imagine. I'm starting to think it wasn't a bad move actually. Might take them another couple of years to get it right but if they have the right people, no reason why they can't win again. Look at Mercedes when they came back into F1 in 2010(?) on the back of the Brawn team. They were pretty shite for a few years until the regulation changes for 2014 (the hybrid engines) and then they were unbeatable. Could happen with Renault. I hope for DR's sake, the same thing happens.

The scuttlebutt is that MV Augusta have already booted him from the team.

The guy has been a menace for years. I hope he is washing cars inside 6 months.

I was watching last night when it happened. Grubbiest thing I have seen happen on 2 wheels.

Should have his FIM license revoked for at least one year. I'd be surprised if he could pick up a ride after that.

I've just finished watching the Brazilian GP. Why wouldn't Verstappen have left room for Ocon. He would have won the race if he didn't turn in on Ocon. OK Ocon maybe shouldn't have been there in the first place but Verstappen's immaturity really showed itself there. As Hamilton said to MV in the podium room, he had much more to lose than Ocon in that situation. Verstappen thinks Ocon is the idiot, I think they both are.

Verstappen is fast but absolutely no brains.

2nd time this year his stubbornness has cost Red Bull what looked like almost certain GP victories - Baku and Brazil.

Yep. I can see him doing the same thing as Ocon if the roles were reversed and responding the same way that Ocon did after the race.

Verstappen has a lot to learn. I can't stand Hamilton but his reaction and comments post-race say it all really, if you want to be a champion you can't afford to make unnecessary errors like that.

Verstappen's attitude and actions post-race were petulant and embarrassing as well. There's no doubt Verstappen is going to be a world champion one day imo, just hope he grows up otherwise it'll be hard to watch.

I hope the Honda engines continue to be shite next year just to watch Veragappen lose his mind when running around in the bottom third every week.

Yep - would love to see Red Bull consistency problems become even worse next year. I don’t mind Horner, and got the feeling he was playing fair, but Marko’s comments always seemed indicate his favourite was Max (even prior to Ricciardo leaving).

In listening to how MV and Horner spoke after the race and that Helmut Marco was saying that Ocon ran into MV on purpose, I think Ricciardo couldn't have timed his decision to leave Red Bull any better. They are dead set a bunch of self entitled nutters.

Marco's statement is laughable and MV actually believes he was 100% right in the incident with Ocon and would do the same thing again.

I'll be watching and laughing my ass off again the next time he does and loses the race!
