Monthly medal at Half Moon Bay. 39 / 44 for 83 net 70. Played to handicap but was a case of what could have been. Unfortunately lost the plot on 17 and 18.

Golf is, in part, a game; but only in part. It is also in part a religion, a fever, a vice, a mirage, a frenzy, a fear, an abscess, a joy, a thrill, a pest, a disease, an uplift, a brooding, a melancholy, a dream of yesterday and a hope for tomorrow. - New York Tribune, 1916.

44 front 9... 2nd 9 my belt popped open and my pants fell off.... lost tempo after... finish off with a 51. 3x 3 putts and 1x 4 putts doesn't help on the back 9.

    So 95/89 for the day.

84/77. We were a 3 ball following a group in the “dicking around” category. Solid front nine was just ruined by the slow play on the back.

Just finished our final round of pennant v East Malvern away.Played in the last group and had a 3&1 win.Had a great final 7 holes going thru in par.Unfortunately the team went down 6-2 and we missed our chance at finals.
For my first season of Pennant I am pretty stoked ,3 wins , 1 half and 2 losses

Well done Joe , I thought a 6/2 loss was still going to be enough to get into the final

This. The group in front were clueless. 80/76.
