    Default Northern Tasmania - Barnbougle

I'm looking at a trip to Barnbougle and wondering if there are any other courses not too far from Launceston that are worth visiting? Particularly would like an inland option to avoid a high wind day at Barny.

Inceston GC is the pick of the bunch. I haven't heard too many positives for Mowbray or the Casino course. Supposedly Greens Beach is decent but it's NW of flanno town and also on the coast.
    Forum needs more banter.

Devonport is decent, Launceston is the best and Mowbray is better than the casino course but if I had a choice I’d rather do ice in the car park with the locals than play the last two.

Country club is hands down the worst course I visit.

Agree with Spanner re Mowbray and Casino! You feel like u may get rolled in the carpark. Ulverstone is the best private course in the north!

Inceston is good for golf…as its other nickname is ‘the hole’!

I assume it is 'inceston', not 'incestone'. Trying to make sure which courses you are referring to.
One is on a river, the other on a coast (perhaps not suited by the acronym for the coastal site?).

You've been confused about Tasmania ever since you gave that young lad a ride on your lap back in 2011
