Got a little practice area project going on in my backyard. It's nearing completion with the final landscaping being done today.
Once it's completed I will be looking at a launch monitor/simulator set up to complete the picture.
Front runner is the SkyTrak system, and I can get it landed including all licensing for around $3500-$4000 with ongoing expenses of $100-$200 a year to maintain licensing.
I considered briefly the cheaper OptiShot program, however due to the way the area will be set up hitting off their mat provided is not practical, and I'd rather spend the money now and get a good system.
Because it's outside, I would need the unit to be able to be brought inside of an evening, so something wireless and portable is ideal.
Have any of you guys had experience with any of the other various simulator systems out there? Is there any that would match the SkyTrak functionality and affordability that I should be considering?
I have plenty of pictures, and when it's all complete i'll do a project blog to show off how I have designed everything. For now, here is the "before" picture
