    It was a fun tourney.

Watching him battle and hold on was quite entertaining. There were some definite speed wobbles that he was able to reign in.

Watching Speef shoot an amazing round and turn into Shadesy on the 18th tee was something that no one expected.

Having stood behind the players hitting off the 18th it is not that difficult to see how anyone could hit the trees on either side. It is a very narrow shute and you actually need to hit a slight fade to finish right of the fairway bunkers.

It looked narrow as anything on TV.

It was just very surprising for a guy that was that deep and completely in the zone to do it.

I take it you've never made a mistake on a good round.

The mistake he made was probably just a few inches away from being a fine shot.

This - they will cut the overhanging branches for 2019. The tight treeline is iconic - the overhang is the killer.

It was. I’m not chastising him for it, I just said it was very surprising as he had it on a string.

I think Reed wins for himself ...and glory for himself in the Ryder Cup.
He is not a team man in any way.
I would take Speith as a team member and a player any day!

Except for the bit where Reed wins Ryder Cup points

Yes he wins points but I have a sense (obviously not provable) that Reid cares more about his personal performance/result than the team performance. If he won 4 points out of 5 but the team lost...I doubt he would be gutted!

He'd probably be rightly pissed at his team mates
