    Played our third round of pennant today at Jindalee. Only our second match as we had a bye in the first round as Nudgee hosted.

    Team had a 3/2 win which was great. So that’s two wins so far for us.

    I had a 3/2 win. Was playing pretty steady golf and was all square when I lost a ball from my second shot up the right hand side of 6. Pissed me off a bit. Lost the hole after heading back down the fairway to hit another. Won the next 2 holes to turn 1 up.
    Then I win the 10,11 and 12th to give me a comfortable run home.

    Final round of pennant today,had a 3&1 win away,but team went down 6-2.But what did I learn about pennant that is different from playing club golf.Naturally respecting the etiquette and not playing out of turn,dont act like a duck if you play 1 bad shot,it is possible to halve a hole even if you fail to play on the fairway and then chip in for bogey.It might be a team game set up with individual matches,but you still need to have fun,if it isn't fun then you are doing something wrong.I had a few games were I was 3 up,on 1 occasion I lost and another I halved,never get complacent,it only takes 1 shot to either lose or win a hole.

    I myself managed a square after being 3 down at the turn.

    My understanding is it's called pennants in NSW and pennant in Vic. Not sure about the other States and Territories.
