    Default Rugby 2018 and 2019

Reds start tonight, first game under Brad Thorn. I hope he can bring some of his hardness and desire to the team.

First NZ game was a cracker (Highlanders over Blues). Hopefully the Reds Rebels will be as good.

Not a great start for the Reds, Brumbies get a win in Japan.

Reds were awful. But captain sent off after 8 makes things hard.

    Crusaders have started well.

..not sure whether to add to this thread, or start a 2019 one - but season starts tonight! Looking forward to the Brumbies/Rebels game, it should be fairly evenly matched.

I managed to catch a couple of the Brumbies trial games in the last month and they are looking really good

Trials don't mean a lot. Reds have the bye this week so at least we won't lose!

Genuinely thought rugby Australia might have killed it off by now.

PeteyD, I love my club rugby and will likely see every Manly Marlins game, its local, its my people.

There is a snowflakes chance in hell I will watch a Waratahs game either live or on TV, this seems a common theme with my mates, not sure if we are a representative sample

Can’t wait for the season to start, particularly waiting to see how long it takes for the first tryless thriller.

...and that hope is already fading! A very average game from the Brumbies last night.

Went to the reds game tonight, an improved side but the Crusaders are quality even at under strength.

Crusaders so good. Good game. Reds missed the start and that cost them in the end. Hard start for the season starting with a bye and then playing two of the best teams. Tahs next week though

Tahs have been ordinary in their first two games. Reds - Rebels will be a good match-up with the swapping of players around.

I'm still dining out on 2011 though.

Brumbies copped a hiding! With the Rebels and Tahs coming up, it's going to be a bit of battle. Would love to see them get one over NSW though

No dodgy yellow or dodgy no try calls in that game!

The Wallabies and England just spent 6 minutes unsuccessfully trying to pack a scrum then the Wallabies kicked a penalty.

    What a thrilling sport.

Should 2020 be added to the title to get the thread to a second page?

How’s the AFL World Cup going?
Cinderella story, out of nowhere, former greenskeeper, now about to become a Masters champion..... It looks like a mirac.. It's in the hole! It's in the hole!
