Of course, the Masters wasn't a major during Hagen's serious playing career. The Masters didn't start until 1934, which was 20 years after Hagen's first major victory (1914 US Open) and by then he was over 40 years old. Tommy Armour also only won three majors in total (interestingly three different ones), and like Hagen, he didn't have too many chances to win the Masters as he was only a few years younger than Hagen (and therefore didn't play the Masters until he was 38 ).

Having said that, Trevino is very good company to be in!

Just finished watching the final round of Dubai. Great win by Li Haotong. While Rory made a couple of errors, he birdied the last 2 but so did Li. Impressive.

A mate is a chance of getting into the Super 6 tournament in Perth next week and I will be caddying for him! He is currently leading the Vic Open after a 64 in the third round.

I might have to get out a yardage book and get some practice in!

I saw the interview with Simon yesterday Braddles. -8 in those conditions at 13th Beach is pretty damn good going. Did he work in the Pro shop at Ryde Parramatta a few years back?

Yes, he did. He has been playing pretty well lately - he seems to shoot -5 or -6 around Royal Hobart most rounds. It is rare when you play in the Tassie Open and have the defending champion (Simon) caddying for you!

You'd want to be able to read greens

I can't wait! I have never carried a bag for 18 holes, so it could be an interesting experience!

I have spent the last two days inside the ropes at the World Super 6. It has been an amazing experience! Played a practice round with Zander Lombard. Very nice guy, with his iron game probably the best I have seen. Was two clubs longer than my mate, who isn’t short.

Played in the Pro Am today and our team won! My mate shot an easy 66 with only pars on the par 5s. I read the greens for him today and will be doing it again in round 1. We are playing with Min Woo Lee and Boonma from Thailand (I think).

One highlight was hitting balls next to Westwood on the range.

Hoping to get my mate to the top 24!

Not as hard as Friday! Surprised at the scores of Westwood and Rumford.

Yep, that post was from Friday braddles 😁I couldn't believe Rumford and Westwood either. Playoff with Quayle and Aphibarnrat was great. I quite like this format.

Yeah the format is at least a good change from 72 holes of stroke. I like the fact the focus was on the bubble boys around 24, spreads the coverage more than normal but I’m really disappointed for Anthony. Really looking forward to seeing it this afternoon though.

I would love to see Minwoo Lee win. He’s already said a win and he’d turn pro straight away to take advantage of the exemption.

Does the exemption hold if he wins it as an amateur?
